Berit Goethel-Paal is part of the Clinical and Therapeutical Governance team at Fresenius Medical Care’s Europe/Middle East/Africa region in Bad Homburg, Germany. Her emphasis is on European Union of Medical Specialties–accredited medical education for the physicians working in the Fresenius Medical Care’s NephroCare clinic network, with the goal to continuously improve medical outcomes for dialysis patients. With her expertise in this field, she was a speaker at the MedTech Congress 2019. Prior to joining Fresenius Medical Care, Berit was responsible for international clinical trial management for pharmaceutical companies. She holds a PhD in cell biology from the University of Kiel in Germany.
