We encourage participation in ERGs through company communications. Following company guidelines, employees are welcome to join existing groups or expand our offerings by starting groups of their own.
We had many initiatives in 2022. Here are some highlights:
Over 25 ERG leaders took part in the “ERG Is Not Just an Acronym” leadership conference sponsored by The Society for Diversity.
The Thriving With ERG hosted an event where members shared how they live with “Invisible Disabilities and Chronic Illnesses.”
The LGBTQIA & Allies ERG hosted a visual podcast event on “Bringing Your Authentic Self to Work.”
The Organization for Hispanic/LatinX & Allies ERG regularly hosts Language Club events for Spanish as a second language for their allies and Cafecito (coffee) Social Events for all of their members.
The Celebrating Cultures ERG celebrated United Nations International Day of Peace with a diverse panel of employee speakers sharing their perspectives on Fresenius Medical Care’s organizational DE&I journey and its impact on our employees.
The Native American and Indigenous Peoples’ ERG held their kickoff event where the Waianae Coast Nanakuli Dialysis Center’s Hawaiian blessing ceremony was shared.
The Grassroots Employee Environmental Network (GREEN) ERG continues to promote the Mircera Reusable Packaging Program through which product shipping containers that are sent to dialysis centers are now emptied, returned, cleaned, and put back into use, thereby reducing the amount of solid landfill waste produced by centers.
