A Letter to Patients from our Chief Medical Officer

To Our Valued Patients,

Two vaccines, one from Pfizer-BioNTech and the other from Moderna, have received Emergency Use Authorizations (EUAs) by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). They are now being widely distributed throughout the country and we are working hard to get access to as many doses as possible to support our employees, physicians, and patients.

We have updated our company policies and procedures to account for possible side effects caused by the vaccines. We have developed trainings to support our staff in administering the vaccine and in treating any allergic reactions in the very small likelihood that they occur.

Your health and safety are paramount to our mission of providing the very best life-sustaining care. Our Medical Office has completed its own thorough review of the available data on the vaccines and is confident in their high degree of efficacy and their safety.

As COVID-19 continues to spread all across the United States at an alarming rate, it is critical that we use the science and medicine available today to stop further spread and save as many lives as possible. That is why we strongly recommend you receive the vaccine as soon as possible. If you have received the vaccine, congratulations! Please tell your care team so we can record it and be aware.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding during this difficult period. We are proud to serve you and your families.
