We believe home dialysis has to be about more than just meeting expectations. It’s about looking above and beyond to find ways to create new levels of comfort and convenience for patients and the people who help care for them.
The 2008K@homeTM Hemodialysis System

- More Dialysis Treatment Options
- Familiar Platform
- Optional Integrated Blood Leak Detection System
- User-friendly, Easy-to-Use On-Screen Tutorial page
A powerful tool for more flexible treatment options at home
WetAlert Wireless Wetness Detector
During treatment, the optional WetAlert device senses leaks at the venous needle site and wirelessly signals the machine, automatically stopping the blood pump, closing the venous line clamp and creating a visual and audible alarm.
Note: Every HD patient’s level of risk for venous needle dislodgement should be assessed before beginning treatment. The most important precaution patients, caregivers and HD professionals can take against VND is to monitor the access site, keeping it visible at all times during dialysis.

stay•safe® connectology for CAPD
Our peritoneal dialysis (PD) systems are designed to promote patient well-being and a high level of safety and reliability.
The stay·safe system is an innovative PD connectology that makes training patients easy. The traditional clamping and unclamping steps are replaced with a simple dial. The patient just turns the dial through the 4 Step process. When the patient reaches Step 4, a PIN is inserted into the patient’s extension set, closing the system prior to disconnect, thus eliminating the need for patients to mask and wash their hands prior to disconnect.
Caution: Federal (US) law restricts these devices to sale by or on the order of a physician.
