Brian Gauger – Chief Executive Officer
Brian Gauger was named Chief Executive Officer and President of National Cardiovascular Partners in January of 2017.
As Chief Executive Officer he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of NCP’s business. As well as being CEO of National Cardiovascular Partners, Brian also serves as Chief Development Officer of Fresenius Medical Care North America (FMCNA); the parent company of NCP. Prior to joining FMCNA, Brian had 22 years of experience in the dialysis industry, serving in executive roles in sales, marketing and business development.
Brian currently resides in Edina, MN.
Donald S. (Buck) Cross, M.D. – National Medical Director
Donald S. (Buck) Cross, M.D, is the National Medical Director for NCP, and represents NCP on the Fresenius Medical Advisory Board.
Dr. Cross is a graduate of St. Edwards University and The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Emory University Hospital, and an Internal Medicine residency at Scott & White Memorial Hospital. He completed his fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology at Scott & White Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Cross is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and has practiced as an Interventional Cardiologist with Waco Cardiology Associates for the past 15 years. He also serves as Medical Director for the Cardiology Department at Baylor, Scott & White – Hillcrest. Dr. Cross served as Medical Director of the Waco Cardiology Cath Lab and ASC from 2012-2017.
Norman Dickey – Chief Operating Officer
A member of NCP since 2009, Norman’s experience in operations is only outshined by his abilities as a manager. His role as Chief Operating Officer has been instrumental to NCP’s success both with its’ employees and physician partners.
Norman currently resides in Tyler, TX.
Jim Spellmire – Chief Financial Officer
Jim has extensive financial management experience in Chief Financial Officer and Controller roles, including the management of Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis and Accounting functions in a broad range of industries. He has a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Finance and a Masters of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University.
Jim currently resides in Bloomington, MN.
Kelly Bemis – Chief Clinical Officer
Kelly is a Registered Nurse who has been with National Cardiovascular Partners since August, 2013. She is a one of the veterans amongst the executive team and continues to bring her knowledge and experience to the company to ensure National Cardiovascular Partners continues to be a compliant and profitable organization.
She has been the Chief Clinical Officer since February of 2017, utilizing her skills in both clinical and business settings to optimize the company’s performance.
Prior to joining National Cardiovascular Partners, Kelly worked for Surgical Care Affiliates (SCA).
Kelly received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University.
Kelly currently resides in San Diego, CA.
Tony Lafata – Chief Development Officer
Tony joined NCP in January of 2017, bringing with him years of experience in the corporate development sector.
As Chief Development Officer, he is responsible for facilitating strategic partnerships with cardiac catheterization labs across the country. Tony brings over 30 years of healthcare industry experience to the NCP executive team, with over 10 years in corporate development with Fresenius, where he currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development.
Tony currently resides in Kansas City, MO.
Neil Marwah, M.D. – Senior Vice President of Integration and Physician Relationships
Dr. Marwah joined NCP in early 2017, looking to bring his knowledge of experience as a physician to the company. As a practicing nephrologist, he is able to connect with both current and prospective physician partners. Prior to joining NCP, Dr. Marwah worked in corporate development at Fresenius Medical Care.
Dr. Marwah currently resides in Phoenix, AZ.
