EDINA, Minn., April 30, 2019 National Cardiovascular Partners, LP (NCP), a leading nationwide developer, manager and operator of outpatient cardiovascular facilities, today announced a new joint venture partnership with Mesa Cardiovascular Research Center, an outpatient cardiovascular center in Mesa, AZ.
This is NCP's fourth joint venture partnership in Arizona. As part of the deal, NCP will assume the daily management and operations of the cardiovascular center, as well as credentialing, administrative and billing functions, freeing up the center's physicians to focus exclusively on providing the highest quality of patient care. Mesa Cardiovascular Research Center will become part of NCPís network of 25 Outpatient Centers throughout the United States.
"NCP will be a tremendous corporate partner in the center and allow us to solely focus on patient quality and care," said Dr. Andrew Kaplan, a physician partner with Mesa Cardiovascular Research Center. "NCP shares our vision of excellent and efficient cardiovascular care, and together, we will take patient care to the next level." This new joint venture partnership was formed with NCP with a vision of combining years of clinical experience with years of corporate experience. Both Dr. Kaplan and his partner, Dr. Al Ambrosia, bring more than 40 years' experience in Electrophysiology and Interventional Cardiology. The physicians will be performing device implants and ablations, as well as peripheral vascular arterial and venous procedures, coronary, carotid and renal artery procedures.
"We are excited to have Mesa Cardiovascular Research Center as part of our family of high-quality outpatient centers," said Brian Gauger, President & CEO of NCP. "The combination of their cardiovascular procedures and clinical research, along with our business expertise makes this the perfect partnership."
