We are reshaping the way potential donors approach kidney organ donation, increasing the number of living donors and available organs, and improving the lives of those affected by the disease for generations to come.

Grant Spotlight: United Network for Organ Sharing

Fresenius Medical Care Foundation Announces $106,000 Grant to United Network for Organ Sharing to Improve Organ Transportation, Tracking, and Logistics

In partnership with the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS), the organization that manages the nation’s organ transplant system, our investment will help improve transportation and logistics for organ donation through better predicting organ travel time and improving tracking using biosensor technology to ensure that fewer kidneys are discarded due to time outside the body.

DLA is focused on increasing the number of donated organs, eyes and tissue available to save and heal lives.

The Big Ask: The Big Give

People are waiting for a chance at a better life, but the number of kidneys falls far too short of the need. THE BIG ASK: THE BIG GIVE was created in response.
