As you think about what to get someone this holiday season, consider a donation to the Fresenius Medical Care Foundation. Tribute gifts are a new option for Foundation donations, created at the request of our employees who wanted to give meaningful gifts to their colleagues for the holidays.
Donating to our Foundation is a powerful way to recognize, honor, and celebrate someone. A gift to the Foundation offers a way to support programs that raise kidney disease awareness and increase patient access to organ donation through the Transplant Fund or to help employees who are facing financial hardship immediately after a natural disaster or unforeseen personal hardship through the CARES Fund.
For each donation made in someone’s name, the honoree (your friend, family, or colleague) will receive an email letting them know the donor has made a gift in their name, and the donor will receive an acknowledgement of their donation.
To make a gift in someone’s name via credit card or ACH:
Go to the Fresenius Medical Care Foundation donation form.
Under Donation Information > Is this donation in Honor or in Memory of anyone? > select “Yes, In Honor” or “Yes, In Memory”.
Write the person’s name in the box under In Whose Name.
Make sure you select Email under Notification Preference and include their email address so they receive a notice of your donation.
For all other forms of donations (PTO, payroll deduction, check), please send an email to Foundation@fmc-na.com after you donate and tell us whose name the tribute is in and their email address and we will notify them of your donation.
