As Senior Vice President, Payor Relations, Karen supports the team that defines and executes on our private payor strategies, managing relationships with over 2000 health plans across the company. In addition, she supports our team of insurance coordinators who assist and educate our patients in making personal choices about insurance coverage. Prior to serving in this business role, Karen served as General Counsel of the North America operations.
A former shareholder and chair of the healthcare practice group at Robinson Bradshaw law firm in Charlotte, North Carolina, Karen is also recognized as a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
Karen holds a juris doctor degree from Columbia University, where she was a member of the Law Review and a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. She also earned a master of business administration and a bachelor of arts in journalism from the University of South Carolina.
