Welcome to the Fresenius Medical Care Renal Therapies Group (FMCRTG) Medical Department Grants Portal
This portal is for the submission of Independent Medical Education (IME) and Investigator-Initiated Research Study (IIRS) grant requests to the Medical Department within FMCRTG. Please note that grant submissions are limited to the Unites States.
These grant requests will be reviewed by FMCRTG, which is the products division of Fresenius Medical Care North America (FMCNA). FMCRTG is separate from Fresenius Kidney Care, the dialysis services division of FMCNA.
FMCRTG is currently accepting submissions for IME and IIRS grant requests.
Grants approvals are not contingent in any way on the use, purchase, prescribing, providing favorable recommendation for, or otherwise supporting any current or future FMCRTG product. All grant funding is conducted in accordance with the applicable laws as well as internal company policies and guidelines.
For IME grant requests, our current areas of interest are:
- Mineral and bone disease in CKD patients on dialysis
- Iron deficiency anemia in CKD patients on dialysis
- Fluid management in CKD patients on dialysis
- Home Therapies
- Critical Care
