Ted Toffelmire is emeritus professor of medicine (nephrology), pharmacology, and toxicology at Queen’s University, where he began his practice in 1988. His scientific inquiry has largely focused on various aspects of patients with kidney disease, including anemia, pharmacology, quality of life, and exercise. He holds degrees in life sciences (BSc, Queen’s University), pharmacology (MSc, Queen’s University), medicine (MDCM, McGill University), residencies in internal medicine and nephrology (University of Western Ontario), and Fellowship in clinical pharmacology (University of California at San Francisco). He joined Fresenius Medical Care Canada in 2007.
