Hurricane Michael struck Panama City, Fla. on Oct. 16, 2018, downing trees, tearing apart buildings and ravaging local infrastructure. Fresenius Medical Care staff quickly accounted for all dialysis patients in the impacted area. Our coordinated disaster response team arrived the next day, bringing a large caravan of equipment and personnel to support patients and employees, ensuring that every in-center or at-home dialysis patient in the impacted area, whether a Fresenius Medical Care patient or not, could continue receiving life-sustaining treatment.
